چکیده
This is an accommodation facility built by The Japan Steel Works on the occasion of visit Crown Prince Yoshihito to Hokkaido in 1911. It still used company as a guest house for important visitors. In this project seismic retrofit, renovation building was carried out Western-style building. There were two intentions, ① carry retrofit so that none strengthening members could be seen, and ② reuse valuable existing materials, with aim external appearance interior preserved they have been maintained date.
